Hyaluronic acid is produced naturally in our skin and is the molecule responsible for attracting and retaining moisture making the skin look plumped and hydrated. You may see this advertised on skincare brands, these cannot restore any lost volume, only an injectable hyaluronic acid can do this.

Dermal fillers can last anywhere between 6 to 18 months. The duration is partly depending on the type of dermal filler used and the area it is used in. Additional factors such as brand, lifestyle choices, and general health may also impact duration.
Most clients will see immediate results following their treatment. However swelling and very rarely bruising can take anywhere from 7-10 days to settle, it is mainly after this that you can see the “final result”
Recovery time varies between clients and for each type of filler and location injected. You can resume most activities right away, but it is recommended that you avoid intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours to minimise swelling and bruising.
